This policy explains how SkillNest, powered by Donverse (“SkillNest”, “we”, “us”), handles information when you use skillnest.in, create an account, register for an internship, make a payment, contact support, or verify a certificate.
Information we collect
We collect information you provide, including your name, email, phone number, city, state, educational details, professional profiles, selected internship, internship dates, account credentials, support messages, and certificate-correction requests. We also maintain technical and security records such as login sessions, audit events, and basic request information where reasonably necessary.
Payments
Payments are processed by Razorpay. SkillNest receives transaction references such as the Razorpay order ID, payment ID, amount, currency, status, and verification result. Payment instrument credentials—including complete card numbers, CVV, UPI PINs, and banking passwords—are entered into Razorpay’s checkout and are not stored by SkillNest.
How we use information
We use information to operate accounts, validate applications, create payment orders, verify transactions, issue internship registrations and certificates, calculate internship status, provide support, prevent fraud and duplicate records, maintain audit trails, and comply with applicable obligations.
Public certificate verification
The public verification page shows only information required to validate a record, such as the student name, internship, dates, certificate number, issue date, certificate status, and internship status. It does not expose contact details, addresses, payment references, account identifiers, or private documents.
Sharing and service providers
We share information only as necessary with service providers supporting payment processing, infrastructure, security, communications, and legal compliance. Razorpay independently processes payment information under its applicable privacy terms. We do not sell personal information.
Retention and security
We retain account and business records for as long as needed to provide services, preserve certificate authenticity, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and meet legal or accounting requirements. We use access controls, protected server-side operations, password hashing, payment-signature verification, and audit logging; however, no internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
You may update eligible profile information, control notification preferences, request certificate corrections, or submit an account-deletion request from Settings. Issued certificate, registration, and transaction records may be retained where necessary for authenticity, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or legal compliance.
